Our Rose & Jasmine Oil comes from a small, generations-old atelier in Taif, Saudi Arabia, a region known as the heart of Arabian florals. Here, high in the cool mountain air, the Taif rose and jasmine blossoms bloom only once a year, for just two precious months. Their scent is fleeting, pure, and deeply evocative — which makes the oil created from them one of the most treasured aromatics in the world.
These flowers carry a lineage. Over 350 years ago, Damascene pilgrims travelling the ancient road to Mecca brought rose cuttings with them. They planted them in Taif’s fertile volcanic soil, where they rooted, flourished, and became the foundation of today’s renowned Taif rose tradition. The jasmine vines followed, weaving themselves into the landscape and into the craft practices of local families.
Our oils are produced by a local family business that still harvests and distills its flowers by hand, preserving the integrity and ritual of the process. Each bottle captures a season, a history, and a fragrance that cannot be replicated.
