These stickers began our story as Zazu Store. Born out of our grief, and lack of words to express our frustration, I hand painted with watercolour to create our first act of relief.
In just 3 weeks, we raised €7,000 for urgent humanitarian aid, using these little stickers as a tool for support. This was possible thanks to your donations, Zazu Store’s matching, and our partner @aneraorg multiplying the total.
This marked the beginning of Zazu Store 🥹Using our creativity as a tool to reclaim heritage, bring awareness to Palestine and to build a future of hope.
The deeper story lies in their origin. My father, a Palestinian artist, was forcibly displaced with his family during the Nakba in 1948. After admiring his art from my childhood, oriented around Palestine, it ultimately became the fulfilling prophecy, that I too would use my art to cave a way for spread awareness for Palestine.
