About Us

ZAZU is more than a store—it’s a living archive of culture, resistance, and care.

Founded by a designer and storyteller with roots from Palestine and a home in Amsterdam, ZAZU curates culturally rich, ethically sourced, and handmade goods that carry deep meaning. Every item we offer—whether it’s a keffiyeh from the souks of Amman, za’atar from Palestinian vendors, or handcrafted pieces made in our atelier—is selected with intention and love.

We believe our products tell stories, challenge narratives, and connect us across borders. At ZAZU, we honour the beauty of tradition and the urgency of crafting creativity through a matter of keeping an erasing heritage alive.

We work directly with artisans, refugees, and independent sellers—many of them Palestinian or of Arab Descent—to ensure every product supports real people and real livelihoods.

100% of the profits from selected items go toward humanitarian efforts through trusted organizations like @aneraorg, allowing your purchases to extend their impact beyond your hands and into communities in need. We've been around since Nov'23 and have donated $17,000 Dollars through Anera Organisation so far!

ZAZU is for those who want their style and space to mean something. For those who understand that wearing a keffiyeh, sprinkling za’atar, or choosing handmade isn’t just aesthetic—it’s a stand, a story, and a form of solidarity.
