Tatreez is the embroidery Palestinian women have stitched for generations, a way of recording identity, village and life's milestones in thread. Every motif is a word in that language.
Red has always been at the heart of tatreez, the colour of celebration, of weddings and of life itself. On this dress it runs down the front and along the flowing sleeves, bold and grounded. A matching belt shapes the waist while keeping the traditional silhouette intact.
